if you direct your little face to the forum button below, you will find that it no longer points you to some random corporate website, but to actual brand-new groteus forums. how exciting!

go ahead and register yourself and start posting. if there's anything i should add, PM me and tell me. PMs get delivered to my email, so i should get them pretty instantly. let me know if anything is behaving strangely or broken, first and foremost.

i'm also working on adding the photo upload thing, as i mentioned before, so you guys can upload your own galleries of groteus memories. pretty soon this site will be pretty pro. stay tuned.

i think i have to halt production of the GroteusStory server until a later date. i'll get back to you on it.

the problem is that the source i was using was really crappy, and you could only be on like 3 maps without getting stuck in this endless loop of the map freezing and reloading. there was no other way to get out of it beside going into the database and manually editing what map you're on, and since i'm the only one with access to the database, that would get tiresome. so that sucks, even though i was able to connect on this one.

so then i started to install a different source that's 100x more complete and less buggy, but is incredibly difficult for me to install because it's not in a language i'm used to. i was able to log in once, but after that, i couldn't get past character selection, and i was having problems editing anything in the database. so i ended up having to scrap that one too.

in conclusion, i just don't have the time to sit here and work on this during the school year. what at first seemed like it was going to be pretty quick was too good to be true, so until i have some major time off (around june 20), the GroteusStory project will be on hold. sorry, guys.

hay sup groteus. this is just a little place for all of us to get together, talk about groteus stuff, and share screenshots, memories, and events. i guess it's a scrapbook of sorts, but a lot less gay than an actual scrapbook.

i'll keep this page updated with any important changes to the site - i hope i will, anyway.

for some reason, the site will load fine in firefox 2.0.0.12, but upon refreshing the page, the background image won't show up anymore. the only solution i have for you is to clear your cache (but it'll disappear again), or view the page in internet explorer. OR, you know, you could do the smart thing and install the IE Tab browser extension for firefox. the ultimate in convenience and luxury.
